Earlier this year, Royal Enfield said that they will introduce new models every year from 2016 onwards. There has been a lot of news on the world wide web that two-wheeler manufacturer is working on the 750cc engine. Recent spy shots of the test mule of 750cc motorcycle in UK suggest the new motorcycle's to be based on the Continental GT chassis with modifications. The motorcycle is powered by a 750cc parallel twin engine, which is expected to produce 45-50hp of power and 60Nm of torque. According to the images, the suspension duties will be taken care by a telescopic front suspension at the front and Paioli shock absorbers at the rear.
The 750cc motorcycle will be the flagship model in Royal Enfield's product lineup and will be launched by March 2017 in India. When launched the motorcycle will compete with the likes of Harley-Davidson Street 750. This will also increase the company's exposure to a larger base of consumers, both in India and in international markets. This will also be the first motorcycle to have been developed by the Royal Enfield Technology Centre in Britain.
