How about an Electric Royal Enfield...?

2005 Royal Enfield Bullet with 500cc single cylinder gasoline engine is now successfully converted into an full electric motorcycle by an individual. The petrol engine and transmission have been replaced by 11 battery modules from Nissan Leaf along with a ME10003 electric motor.
The batteries are housed in an aluminium frame, while the electric motor is positioned on four bolts with a 13 tooth front sprocket and 52 tooth rear sprocket. Toolbox of Electric Royal Enfield Bullet is where the data logger with SD card is fitted so as to maintain details of speed and power while an on board charger is integrated with AC-DC converter.
In the works for past few months, two videos of Electric Royal Enfield Bullet have been revealed drawing attention to electric components that have made their way onto the new Bullet. This is the first ever Electric Royal Enfield Bullet. The builder of this motorcycle has already started conducting trial runs and results are impressive. He managed to reach speeds in excess of 100 kmph.
Videos of Electric Royal Enfield Bullet reveal that the motorcycle has faster acceleration than that seen on the regular Bullet motorcycles. Speeds of 100-110 kmph are achieved easily. The big let down is the iconic thump of a Royal Enfield Bullet. See for yourself in the videos below.
